1. HORMONE REPLACEMENT

After we hit our late 20s and early 30s, our hormones (both men and women) start on an almost steady decline unless we take steps to optimize them. While certain lifestyle interventions and diet adjustments can make big strides in how our hormones function, many people often choose the route of bio-identical hormone replacement therapy prescribed by a skilled and knowledgeable physician. Currently, hormone replacement therapy is available through a variety of forms – injections, troches, creams, patches, and pellets.

To start the process of hormone replacement therapy, a comprehensive blood panel needs to be drawn to assess both overall health and current hormone levels. Once initial levels are detected, you will be prescribed an amount that is matched to your needs. Follow up blood work is done about a month after to double check that we have achieved desired levels and that symptoms are resolving. After that, blood work is only required once per year to ensure we are staying on the right track and maintaining optimal levels.

2. PEPTIDE THERAPY

Peptide therapy is a field that has been around for decades! One of the most common peptides that nearly everyone has heard about is insulin – used for diabetics who no longer have a properly functioning pancreas. Today, the peptide world has recently exploded and we now have dozens available for use, with many more in development that will hopefully make their way to the marketplace soon. It is important to work with a qualified physician regarding peptide selection, dosing, and sourcing as there are currently many websites out there selling inadequate direct to consumer products that are at best, ineffective and at worst, dangerous.

3. INCREASE GROWTH HORMONE

There are a family of peptides that are known as growth hormone releasing hormone analogs, and are used therapeutically to help trigger the pituitary gland to release more growth hormone into circulation. The release of additional growth hormone, especially in aging individuals, can have positive effects on overall health, healing, muscle tone, fat deposition, memory, wrinkles, and mood.

4. ENHANCE MEMORY

The family of peptides that have cognition enhancing abilities have been studied in applications ranging from dementia, Alzheimer’s, overall memory issues, and even anxiety and depression.

5. OPTIMIZE HEALING & IMMUNE FUNCTION

We have peptides available to us that can be used to heal joints, the intestinal lining, enhance the immune sy , and even increase and optimize blood flow.

Additionally, there are unique use ones that can lengthen telomeres and even increase libido!
